The leaders of the Action Coalition on Technology and Innovation for Gender Equality have prepared a joint statement that will be launched next week during the UN General Assembly, to call for gender equality to be placed at the heart of the Global Digital Compact (GDC).
The objective is to make this statement an open call that can be joined by any organization or individual that wishes to advocate for an open, free and equal digital future.
All the commitment makers and their network are invited to join forces and voices to make sure the principles included in the statement are reflected in the inputs to be submitted for the development of the GDC. The statement will be launched at the High-Level Side Event which will be hosted by the Action Coalition during the 77th United Nations General Assembly on September 21st. The event will be broadcasted live and we invite you to register to join the livestream here.
